This discipline works with every aspect of the supply chain from beginning to end. Knowledge of the complete process from vetting of potential vendors to the organization of materials transport to inventory control of materials upon arrival. From there, the CSCP can manage the process of placing materials into production, placing finished goods back into inventory as completed items, and, finally, the delivery of products to consumers. In other words, this certification provides training from start to finish and everywhere in between. This certification is designed for professionals already in supply chain management who have experience in the job and want to expand their knowledge and career enhancement opportunities.
